Graphic Standards is an ongoing project which playfully explores construction techniques, material properties, and geometry through freehand drawing. Each drawing corresponds to a page in the professional reference text Architectural Graphic Standards (12th Edition). Choosing one detail per page, I adapt, modify, or creatively misuse. The resulting drawings are done in a single session, a record of a first thought. Color, pattern, and geometry help to define a specific sensibility or attitude. These are ideas to be adapted and adopted in future projects.
