Rounds is a trio of tables. They are experiments in methods, materials, and sensibility. Each Round uses 2 to 4 pre-made laminated wood table tops. Matte polyurethane finish is applied for durability while still maintaining the look of unfinished wood. For two of the three tables, acrylic supports are covered in dichroic chromatic adhesive film. The end result is a hybrid: natural and synthetic, crafty and trippy, off-the-shelf and custom. The third round is supported by two table tops, each sheared flat at their ends. Like all Orders furniture, each is a small-scale test for an architectural idea.
